The Regional Business Council was launched in 2000 with 50 mid-cap business executives to maximize their corporate involvement and investment in our region. Today, the RBC comprises 100 CEOs representing some of the region’s largest employers.
The RBC is the collective voice of our members, who take ownership of the projects and initiatives which the RBC supports. Members are personally engaged in issues important to the vitality of the region, including advocating for better regional governance, improving educational opportunities, supporting business diversity, and strengthening regional arts and cultural institutions.
While the RBC cannot lend its support to every worthy initiative, we put our substantial talent, resources and determination behind business, civic and philanthropic priorities where RBC members can make a substantive contribution. Our role is to see the region through a fresh lens and to create a vision for the future with a passion for action.
We recognize the critical importance of partnerships and the creation of relationships and linkages with other business, civic, educational and cultural institutions. Through collaboration and dedication to its strategic initiatives, the RBC is committed to making a positive impact on the quality of life in the St. Louis region.
