Partner Education

St. Louis Social Venture Partners has a dual mission to build non-profit capacity and to further develop Partner’s philanthropic perspectives. SVP is committed to providing financial support and professional expertise to select non-profit organizations. Most SVP Partners participate by serving on the grant committee, attending events, and/or actively working with a non-profit. This engagement of our Partners is what sets SVP apart from other funding programs.

SVP collaborates with the Regional Business Council to coordinate educational events with local and national philanthropic leaders to encourage giving among its members and their families. Events focus on individual, corporate, and family philanthropy allowing Partners to discuss giving in an informal and private environment. By informing and educating our Partners, St. Louis SVP hopes to encourage and increase the philanthropic potential of the St. Louis region.
